I just made a flash (.swf) version of the caramelldansen featuring Hinagiku and Nagi from the show Hayate no Gotoku. Check it out.

Caramelldansen is one of those addicting flash loops made by the internet loving crowd back then. It came from the Popotan series, from a segment in the anime (I guess) and with the speeded up version of the Finnish music Caramelldansen. It was a popular one back then, but eventually forgotten until that very day when someone managed to post it in 2chan, the oh-so popular Japanese imageboard known for its numbers and underground otaku culture. From that point, 2channers made a lot of spinoffs from the original, using characters from other anime instead while retaining the addicting music and that dance.. Funnily, that discovery was just new to them, while it was considered a classic from the rest of the Internet.

Annoyingly, as they made spinoffs, them 2channers only managed to produce the spinoffs in either a .gif form or on a streaming video on either YouTube or nico nico, which had the problems of no music (Animated .gif) and low quality and non-endless (streaming) as opposed to the Flash (.swf) format which had good quality, music and of course, a loop.

One of the spinoffs was Hinagiku and Nagi doing the loop, but it was made in a .gif form. I just had the time to create a flash version using that gif and by extracting the audio loop from the original song.

If there are other gifs out there, I can make a .swf version in an instant. Might as well upload the template (flash source .fla) eventually.
