God, I swear, I hate it when people argue over shit that causes a damn flamewar.
How flamewars work:
(applicable on, console wars, OS wars, service wars, and pretty much anything with heated rivalry going on.)
- ” feature X isn’t present / not working / improper / works differently / takes too long to do / in product A “
- “product B, the one that I currently use, has feature X.! (and completely outshines how product A tries to do it!) “
- “therefore, product B is superior than product A! “
- Then this gets repeated ad infinitum.
Sometimes, I lose the will to put hope in humanity because of forums, threads, comments and blogs on these. Moreso on dedicated sites and users who take it at a higher notch.
My response.
- Please follow this thing called “Logic”. Thank you very much.
- Please learn on how to use the product before continuing.
- Shit happens. Deal with it.
- Getting something that the others don’t doesn’t make you better. They too have their own perks that you don’t get.
- Some things are built for a specific audience, and that audience obviously does not include YOU.
- Learn to ignore. Sheesh.
- Hypocrisy is a sweet thing. Oh, and sarcasm too. Yeah. I definitely HATE sarcasm as well.
- Some things have a purpose that’s obviously not fitting for what you’re thinking for where you’re planning to use it. Please follow steps 2 and 5 for further clarifications.
- More isn’t always better. It’s what you think about it that matters. Take note: YOU, not THE OTHER GUY. Mind your own business.
- Please use correct English (or whatever language is fitting), complete with appropriate grammar, spelling and word use to get your point across. Once again, step 1.
- Your ignorance or trolling is not welcome here. Leave.
Too bad that won’t happen. In case some fanboy does sees this, well, hopefully you change for the better.Which you won’t cause you’ll sprout out endless rants and flawed arguments in the end.
So futile.
